1969- son Mitch was born while Jim was in the Coast Guard and we were living in Concord, CA. He, his More…wife and son- Matthias age 12- live in Reston, VA.
1970- daughter Adrienne arrived soon after we were transferred to Arlington, Va. She and her husband have two children- Elise age 11 and Jacob age 8, and live in Prince William Co. VA. Our family also includes our Ethiopian born son, Semere.

My story since graduation

Living in Arlington for 40 years has certainly provided us with a lifetime of adventures and experiences. Jim's non military career was as a Heraldic Designer at the Institute of Heraldry- part of the DOD. I taught 4th and 5th grades (history and writing) in Arlington for 26 years. We travel often to visit friends in Europe. Many of our other trips have been to explore the ancient civilizations and cultures I teach. Most exciting of all was being chosen as a Fulbright Scholar to spend a summer in China- a trip I could never have managed on my own -with exposure to so much- with so few constraints. Our most exotic adventure has been to Abu Dhabi and 3 other Emirates to visit our Swiss friends who were working there for a year. Going to Ethiopia to meet the father of our newest "son" was one of the most memorable of all our trips!

As many others have said, it has been interesting to read this site as it has developed! The names (and senior photos) seem so familiar.

I was wondering if this David Lefler was the same person nice guy who attended Isley... Judy, thank you for confirming it-- I didn't realize that you went to Isley also.  I went to Isley  until the end of 4th grade also...then moved to Riverlawn.  Condolences to his family and friends...
